Bowing to the demands of the masses, KiwiFarms has been taken offline—for now. KiwiFarms was a website run by a fascist, more-or-less for fascists: specifically, it was a forum for reactionaries to organize harassment campaigns by doxxing and stalking individuals and, in some cases, “swatting” them (calling in an anonymous threat to get an individual attacked by SWAT/police). In short it was a platform of stochastic terrorism that weaponized the capitalist state on people, very often queer and trans people. Most infamously, the perpetrator of the Christchurch terrorist attack—the mass shooting of a Mosque in New Zealand—was a user on the website, and the website administrator refused to cooperate in an investigation.

But KiwiFarms is but one small piece of a massive internet ecosystem. The interconnected and contentious issues of privacy, free speech, censorship, and big tech all require cautious analysis. The long and short of it is that we support the censorship of KiwiFarms because it was a progressive demand brought forward by the masses to the ruling class (and not vice versa).
